Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana 2022:
The state government made a big announcement in which those people who want to build a house, are given the benefit of this scheme. There has been an increase of 70% in the assistance received from the government under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Awas Yojana. Under this, people whose income is 1.5 lakh annually in urban areas and 1.20 lakh annually in rural areas, are included in this scheme.
Under this scheme, Rs 45,000 was provided for housing assistance in the year 2014, later this amount was increased to 70 thousand. Due to this, now this amount has been increased from 70 thousand to 1.20 lakh. About 20,000 families of the state will get the benefit of this assistance. Thus, its benefit is to be given to species including OBC, SC-ST.
In the last five years, for Rs 256 crore, 5 thousand poor families have been assisted in fulfilling their desire for housing.
